Terms & Conditions for Wedding Services
(Photography, Content Creation & Drone Work)
Terms And Conditions
1. Booking & Retainer Fee
A non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your booking. This must be paid within 24 hours of confirming your date. Until the retainer is received, your date is not secured and remains available to other clients.
2. Payment Schedule
The remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks (28 days) before your wedding or event date. If payment is not received by this deadline, your booking may be cancelled, and the retainer forfeited.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
- All payments made are non-refundable, including the retainer.
- If you cancel within 30 days of your event, the full balance remains due, regardless of whether it has been paid yet. This is due to the loss of work and income from holding your date.
- All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
4. Rescheduling & Postponements
Rescheduling is subject to availability. The original retainer may be transferred at the discretion of the business, but a new agreement will be required. Retainers cannot be transferred to different clients or services.
5. Delivery of Content
- Photography: You will receive your final gallery and/or videos within 6–8 weeks from the event date.
- Content Creation: You will receivie your gallery and/or videos within 24-48 hours from the event date.
- Drone Footage: Delivery timelines are included within the standard turnaround unless otherwise agreed. All drone work is weather- and legally-permitted dependent.
- Content creation deliverables (Reels, TikToks, BTS) will be clarified prior to the event and delivered digitally.
6. Copyright & Usage
The photographer and/or content creator retains full copyright to all images and video unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a usage license for personal use, including printing and sharing on social media. Commercial use requires separate licensing.
7. Drone Operation Disclaimer
Drone use is subject to weather, flight restrictions, and safe conditions on the day. If drone work cannot go ahead due to legal or environmental restrictions, no refund will be issued, but alternate coverage will be provided where possible.
Drone services are subject to suitable weather and legal flying conditions. The drone cannot be operated in the following conditions:
- Rain or drizzle
- High winds or gusts (above legal flying limits)
- Storms or extreme weather warnings
- Fog or low visibility
- Nearby airspace restrictions, no-fly zones, or flight hazards
If drone use is deemed unsafe or restricted on the day of the event, it will not go ahead. This decision will be made solely at the discretion of the drone operator to ensure safety and legal compliance.
No refunds will be issued for drone work that cannot be completed due to these conditions, but where possible, alternative coverage will be provided.
8. Force Majeure
In the unlikely event that services cannot be provided due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, all efforts will be made to secure a qualified replacement. If this is not possible, a full refund including the retainer will be issued.
This does not apply to cancellations due to external events such as venue closure or government restrictions — in such cases, the standard cancellation policy remains.
